Introducing... The Amazing Dr. Scott!
Allow me to introduce my magical alter ego.
Hi everyone, I’m obsessed with magic! Over the past year I’ve gone down the magic rabbit hole after discovering a branch of magic called “mentalism”— which combines magic with psychology. It just feels like me. What a wonderful way for me to enhance my public science communication about the human mind by adding more awe and wonder into people’s lives! Also, there are so many fascinating intersections between cognitive science and magic. I call myself a “psychological magician”.
Over the coming days and months I will be adding clips of me doing magic to people from all walks of life on The Amazing Dr. Scott Instagram Page. If I can add more joy, wonder, and mystery into anyone’s life, I consider it a good day.
