Congratulations! I look forward to receiving my pre ordered copy. Your thoughts and scholarly work is a breath of fresh air in the crowded and highly commercial Wellness Industry. Helping others empower themselves is distinctly different than 'selling' them a cure or hooking them to follow one's 'solution' to their problems. I hope your book reaches millions, Scott!

The day has come! Congratulations! I’ve been counting the days since reading your essay, what feels like the most comprehensive book on the topic I’ve been obsessed about for a couple of decades, because it’s the most empowering and for its huge potential, to rise above! Thank you for putting it out in the world.

Going to read but doesn’t seem to cover actual limitations like chronic pain & disabilities. Maybe you need to write a follow up. Your life sucks, now what! ;)

“Everyone can find someone else who is a little bit more talented, more good-looking, or more driven, or who started life with more opportunity.

So what are you going to do about that? Are you going to fold your hands, or are you going to get in the game? I, for one, wanna see you get in this thing. Because the truth is we need you. We need your skills and your talents and your energy. After all, life is a shitshow; remember? If we're gonna make something better out of it, it's an al-hands-on-deck moment, and that includes you. It's time to take the wheel and captain your own damn ship!”

this passage alone gave me more courage to take action on the things I need to do and have been afraid to do. There is a lot of helpful information in this book.

Thank you

Just bought it! Really got a lot from Transcend. I am working on a book that explores how we can use Maslows ideas to create a better society. Glad to be subscribed here too.

I hope it doesn't include anything that makes me uncomfortable or challenges my deeply-held assumptions!
