I had a great chat with Dr. James Doty about his most recent book “Mind Magic: The Neuroscience of Manifestation and How it Changes Everything”. In this discussion we discuss the real secret, which is that the universe doesn’t actually give a fuck about us! We learn that if want to lead a rich, meaningful, and prosperous life, we do not have to appease any power beyond ourselves. We also discuss whether there is any science behind The Law of Attraction, the importance of “value tagging”, and the neuroscience of manifestation. This was an elucidating and fun chat.

Bought the book. Loved the whole thing. Glad Dr. Doty decided to write it. My wish for a podcast guest who has released a book in recent months is to speak at two levels. First, acknowledge that many have not purchased or read the book and provide the color commentary that you did here. Second, acknowledge many have read it and speak to them, directly. Offer something that is NOT what they read and provide further or deeper thoughts Dr. Doty may have discovered or had AFTER he wrote the book. Or perhaps a story that he left out of the book but we can talk about it now.
