It’s been a whirlwind week with the release of my new book Rise Above. I’m here for it. I’m committed to spreading my message that we have to look at the parts of ourselves that aren’t broken, and that we can all tap into our our deep reservoirs of human resiliency to face life with passion and determination.
Here are some updates!
On May 19th at 6pm I will be having a conversation with Reason Editor at Large Nick Gillespie about my new book at the Comedy Cellar in NYC. I’m such a big fan of comedy and this is *the* place for comedians to perform so this is a really exciting opportunity for me to spread my message AND be relaxed and uncensored while doing it! I expect the tickets to sell out fast so please grab your ticket ASAP and come say hi to me after the show!

Congratuations on your continued success!
You're on fire, Scott! I'm glad that good things are coming your way.
I need to come clean, though: I was a fan of Gabor Maté for some time, and so, it was interesting to see what you propose in a way, is a punch in the gut to some of his claims. But I also know (and learned from you, too!) that a creative mindset embraces paradoxes and taking time to revise contrasting ideas that may contest our current thinking and beliefs, with curiosity, is necessary.
Looking forward to read this!
