Hi! I just took the light/dark triad test and noticed my answers were directly influenced by the protection mechanisms I developed while married to a known dark triad. Thank you for reminding me that part of my healing includes fixing and undoing that influence outcome!
About sense of self, would be interesting to know more about your views on buddhist goal of "no-self". I know that in the past you spoke critical of the goal of deconstructing the sense of self? I am sometimes surprised how less discussion is about this important topic, especially now where there seems to be a trend towards nonduality and meditation.
Personally, for me, it is absurd to asume that our sense of self is somehow a evolutionary mistake to be solved (reminds me a bit of a the christian 'original sin'). If you live completely in the now without conscious modelling about past & future events, how do you recognise wrongdoing of yourself? How do you recognise a situation (job, relationship, city) that doesn't fit anymore? With such ultimate tolerance, what are drivers for change?
